Looking for an easy costume to make for your little one this year? Look no further! I have the easiest, cutest, lovable costume EVER!
I made this DIY gumball machine costume for my daughter this year for Halloween and OMG I fell in love when I put it on her. I didn’t think it would be much to talk about but it’s my favorite by far. She also seemed to light up when she put it on had so much fun wearing it around the house.
There aren’t many supplies needed to make this costume which makes me love it even more. You probably have most of these items in your house already.
- Hat/bonnet/toboggan (We used a toboggan)
- Pom poms
Start by gluing the pom poms to your chosen hat. If you are using a toboggan it’s easiest to place it onto something round so that it stretches out just a tad. This will help you get all of the pom poms close enough together and you won’t have any open spaces once you place it on your child’s head.
Once you are done gluing the pom poms to your liking, cut one grey square and glue it to the front of your red shirt. (If you don’t want to damage the shirt with glue you could use fabric tape). Now cut out the 25 cents from the black felt and glue it onto the grey felt.
Ta-Da! That’s it. Easy Peasy. You are done. Easiest costume ever! Now let me see those pics!
