CLEANING WITH WHITE VINEGAR | You know that little bottle of vinegar that sits in the very back corner of your pantry? You probably bought it for something you needed years ago and haven’t touched it since. Well, it does MAGIC. It can clean your entire house! Well, I mean it’s not going to jump out of your pantry and go clean everything for you…now that would be magic. But, it does do miracles. It can clean up some nasty stuff. Go grab it out of that back corner and try some of these tricks.




Cleaning with White Vinegar


Fill a bowl with half water and half vinegar. Microwave for 5 minutes. Remove bowl with oven mitts! Wipe away scum with a sponge.

Remove hard water spots from your sink by dampening a rag with white vinegar and rubbing the affected areas.

Garbage Disposal

Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Leave alone for 10 minutes. Pour boiling water down the drain with the garbage disposal running.

Wipe windows with a 50/50 water & vinegar solution. Wipe windows dry with a lint free cloth.

Remove musty smells from the washing machine by running 2 cups of white vinegar through the wash cycle with hot water.

To keep your toilet bowl clean, pour 1-2 cups of white vinegar and let sit overnight. Scrub with a toilet brush.

Remove mildew from a shower or bath by spraying vinegar directly on the mildew. Let sit for 3 minutes and wipe away with warm water.

Remove odors and stains from your mattress by spraying the surface with undiluted white vinegar. Allow the surface to dry and then sprinkle baking soda on top of the mattress. Vacuum the baking soda off of the mattress.
